Outlaw online entry are live - sweet!!!
After about 6 hours of sleep over the past 6 days the team at outlaw are happy and very proud to announce "online entry" through the outlawpaddling website. You have the ability to enter one event, two events or even save some money by entering the whole series. It is very easy and only takes a few clicks of the mouse button. Tim, Wade and myself have managed to do it, so everyone should have no trouble. You can also look at the entrant list for each event online to. Official results from Outlaw Race 3 at Pt Lonsdale have now been posted on outlaw website. We'll be updating the series standings shortly. Stay tuned. Meanwhile, full results from the YMCA mini marathon (race 2 in the Outlaw Ocean series) are now available online here too. The Outlaw Ocean race 3 (Pt Lonsdale) summary
Saw strong southerly winds and some big surf rolling through the Port Phillip Heads. These conditions offered fun but tough racing conditions and marked the real birth of ocean racing in Victoria. Check out the photo gallery for some fantastic shots. The Point Lonsdale race is held within sight of the treacherous, yet picturesque Port Phillips Heads, and the strong southerlies and big swells really turned on some spectacular conditions for competitors and spectators. One double ski crew came to grief at the hands of a rogue bombie that caused them to have a bit of a swim (good work Bugman!!). With the bombies really rolling and the odd container ship sailing through the heads, the race was held in a spectacular backdrop. Click here to read more.
